Hunting, fishing, camping, boating and RVing are more than hobbies for millions of Americans. For many service members and veterans, they are a way to recharge, reconnect with family and enjoy time outdoors with the people they serve alongside.
Outdoorsmen Holdings wants to make that easier.
An economy worth celebrating
Outdoor recreation is one of America's great shared pastimes, and a major part of the economy. According to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, it accounted for $696.7 billion in value added, or 2.4 percent of U.S. GDP, in 2024, and supported approximately 5.2 million jobs across the country.
What Outdoorsmen Holdings does
Outdoorsmen Holdings is the outdoor-economy subsidiary of Complete Financial Solutions. Its acquisition focus is the trade shows that bring that economy together: hunting, fishing, camping, boating and RV shows across the United States. These events connect manufacturers, dealers, outfitters and small businesses with the families who buy from them.
A plan to open the doors to service members
Outdoorsmen Holdings is working to finalize a partnership with the U.S. armed services branches. The intent is to give active-duty service members and veterans discounted access to the shows it acquires.
That partnership isn't final yet, and Outdoorsmen Holdings has not yet completed a trade show acquisition. But the goal is clear, and it shapes how we think about every show we evaluate.
Why it matters
- Morale and family time. Trade shows are a family outing. Reducing the cost makes it easier for military families to take part.
- Community and connection. For veterans, the outdoor industry is full of small businesses, guides and outfitters, a potential source of connection, community and even careers.
- Good business. Service members and veterans are a large, engaged audience. Welcoming them is good for exhibitors and good for the shows.
Connected to the larger mission

Outdoorsmen Holdings serves it in a different way: by supporting the people who serve, and the small businesses and American manufacturers that make up the outdoor economy.
