Major defense programs depend on thousands of lower-tier suppliers. Complete Aerospace Solutions acquires established U.S. aerospace and defense suppliers positioned to support Golden Dome and help them grow.
When a major defense program is announced, the headlines go to the prime contractors. But a program the size of Golden Dome doesn't get built by a handful of household names. It gets built by thousands of suppliers further down the chain: the companies that machine the parts, make the sensors, build the subassemblies and keep the quality high.
Those lower-tier suppliers are the focus of Complete Aerospace Solutions.
The Department of War is opening the door
The Department of War has made broad industry participation a cornerstone of Golden Dome. Golden Dome is envisioned as a layered homeland defense network integrating ground, airborne and space-based systems to detect, track and intercept ballistic, hypersonic and cruise missiles.
To build it, the department launched the Golden Dome for America Hub, a digital platform designed to streamline collaboration between the Department of War and the commercial technology sector. Through the Hub, the department says, qualified suppliers can connect with innovative capital tools, and its strategy actively encourages multi-vendor participation and establishes a highly resilient foundation for rapid production scaling.
"Our mission is to establish an unassailable, highly resilient industrial base built on transparency and collaborative problem-solving," said Gen. Michael Guetlein, director of Golden Dome for America.
That is good news for capable sub-tier suppliers.
Who we acquire
Complete Aerospace Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Complete Financial Solutions. It acquires and operates established U.S.-based aerospace and defense suppliers, generally those generating $50 million or more in annual revenue, that hold sub-tier positions supporting the nation's most consequential defense priorities, most notably Golden Dome.
These are proven businesses. They have customers, certifications, skilled workforces and track records. What many of them need is the capital to grow as fast as the opportunity in front of them.
Why the sub-tier matters
A strong program is built on a strong supply chain. Every critical component delivered on time and to spec helps the whole system move forward. Strengthening the sub-tier is one of the most practical ways to support the program itself.
Sub-tier suppliers often carry a heavy financing load. They must buy materials and expand capacity to meet orders from larger contractors, often before they are paid.
What changes under a public parent
As part of Complete Financial Solutions, a U.S. public company, an acquired supplier can access more cost-effective capital through the public markets, institutional funding groups and the more than a dozen investment bankers in our syndicate network. That helps it invest in capacity, hire and deliver.
Owners and leadership teams stay focused on what they do well: building quality parts on schedule.
A pipeline for the future
Complete Aerospace Solutions also has a strategic partnership with Space Innovation Unit, an aerospace incubator owned by Decentral Life. SIU works with early-stage aerospace companies. As those companies mature, some may eventually reach the scale where Complete Aerospace Solutions would consider them as acquisition candidates.
